We took a two-hour ferry ride from Svolvær to Skutvik, on the Norwegian mainland. The tickets were about $65, as I recall, for each car. But given the continued devaluation of the US dollar, it would be considerably more expensive for us now. On the way to Skutvik, we passed--a bit too closely for comfort, I’d say--this lonely lighthouse.
